Instant favorite! The flavors, the portions and the service were perfect. You won't come here for the ambiance, though. There's limited seating outside. The lot itself looks a bit rundown. The food, however, was amazing. We ordered the double buns, and a bussin combo. The chicken was well marinated, with a perfect amount of spices and seasoning with a generous portion of fries and sauce. Their menu has halal chicken.

My son found them on Instagram & insisted that we had to stop by to try the chicken strips! Bussin' Buns #4/Hot Tenders plate & #5/Mild Bussin' Fries & the rest was history! The staff was friendly, it was busy but the service was fast! The food was fresh & the temperature was perfect! We will definitely be regular customers!

Order thru door dash. This was delicious!! Chicken was juicy! I had the combo and “chefs kiss” the sauce was amazing too!

Pretty good. We got the bussin fries, the bussin combo, and the double sandwiches. They were pretty good. The chicken was a little dry and the buns were good. The fries were really good and they were well seasoned. I thought the sauce that was over the sandwiches was alright. Overall, it was pretty good.

I got double bun and bussin fries Spicy level extra hot. I liked the honey packets added to the order. Taste -> spicy as ordered and YUM price -> moderate Quality -> fresh Overall -> 5/5 Must try tender place.

UPDATE!!! BUSSIN BUNS HAS REDEEMED THEMSELVES!!! I was comped a free meal after the mistake the other day, and it was absolutely delicious. The chicken was hot and juicy, the fries were nice and hot. I definitely recommend. Just check your order before driving off... I ordered my dinner for lunch because I had a Dr appointment. Imagine not eating all day, and being excited to try ya'll for the 1st time, only to be utterly disappointed!!! I ordered the 2 sandwich combo with fries. Got home and my sandwiches had no meat! ZERO, NOTHING!!! COLESLAW AND PICKLES!!!

10/10 certified bussin’ you won’t come here for the ambiance obviously, but you’re gonna love the piping hot, crispy chicken these guys are putting out. We got three hot tenders with the bussin’ sauce, and the tenders were actually spicy and flavorful. I have a decently high spice tolerance and I enjoyed the kick they had. Weirdly, one of the tenders tasted bland (almost like it hadn’t been marinated enough), but the other two were incredibly juicy and tasty. I know they’re relatively new, so they’ll probably work out the kinks. But the other two tenders were awesome so we will be coming back. Easily one of the best hot chicken places in Austin - way better than Gus’s or Tumble22.

I usually don’t leave reviews but everyone must try their mac and cheese. It has a bed of fries with chopped tenders, topped with mac and cheese. We also got the combo with the sandwich and tender all in mild spice level, but wish we got the hot for a little extra kick. It was very good nonetheless. The tender was well seasoned and crispy and the sandwich had a giant tender, coleslaw, and pickles. Parking was easy but tends to get busier past 8, probably will be ordering ahead online from now on.
